"Take Psygnosis G-Police and add a twist of BMG's Car Theft Auto, you get the upcoming game from EA, Auto Destruct, as our friends at Gamesource got their sneak peek with some beautiful screenshots, here's what they thought about it:

Visually, Auto Destruct is pretty cool, placing you in one of a number of nice looking 3D cities to romp in. I found the environment to be pretty believable, especially because other cars and people were moving about the streets, helping to make the place seem a bit more full of life. Of course once you arrive, it might not be so full of life, because you can mow down the people in the street with gunfire or just a good old fashioned hit and run, and they'll lay where they fall for the rest of the game. C ars, tanks, helicopters and whatever else you blast turn into flaming rubble in an impressive show of fireworks too. There's even enough attention to detail that trees can be set ablaze, structures can be demolished, and your car can get pretty banged up to say the least. The resolution on the graphics didn't seem to be that high, but the designers manage to get the intended effect across successfully, making it seem like you're screaming along at high speeds leaving a whirlwind of destruction in your pat h. Multiple camera angles are available as well, and can be played with to some extent, letting you get the best possible view of the action.
