GAME DESCRIPTION

Screamer 2 is a rally game which is very similar to Sega Rally.

Before you get to race you can choose from one of four teams, Angels, Condor, Wasps, or Zeus. There are four driving styles Arcade, Championchip,Time attack, and Multiplayer. Multiplayer allows you to play network, serial or split screen 2 players

There are seven tracks in screamer 2. They are England, Egypt, California, Finland, Switzerland, Columbia and a secret track which you can play if you win all the championships. There are four cars to choose from and a secret car for each team.

You can now choose from:

Lo-Res 256 colours (320 x 200)

Lo-res 65K colours (640 x 400)

Hi-Res 256 colours (640 x 400)

and Hi-Res 65k colours (640 x 400)

New Patch - A patch is now available to support the 3DFX accelerator chipset, it can be downloaded from here (about 1Mb in size):

Newer Patch : This patch is slightly larger when uncompressed (about 1.2 MB compared with the 1 Mb of the other patches). The file is only 450 Kb to download. This patch however seems to have some bugs in it. You can try it if you wish.

Well the wait is over the official Voodoo/Voodo Rush patch has been released by Virgin, german release, english to follow soon.

Older patches

This patch resolves the following problems experienced with Screamer 2 :

I. Small Installation Only. Program crash when completing a Championship League and when choosing to PLAY AGAIN in a 3 lap time attack.
II. SETUP problems and Screamer 2 not running in 65k Hi-Resolution with certain Video Cards.
