GAME DESCRIPTION
(Description by Ian Seely)
"This was another early racing simulator, released shortly after Indy
500. It was intented to recreate the 1986 F1 season, and had the proper
tracks,
though the opponent cars did not resemble the other real cars.
Like Indy, it did have some garage features, but fewer. Just gears, wings,
shock hardness, tyre compound, turbo, and fuel mixture, no roll bars,
pressures, or camber. The graphics were sprite based and there were
no trackside objects. This made it hard to judge speed and turn approches. There
was no elevation, which really doesn't do most tracks justice. The driving
model was also lacking, as even the AI cars oftev weer off track! Overall
it
couldn't match its stable-mate, Indy, and was not as good as some other
games of the time, though it was the first to venture into Formula One
racing."
DEMO
I don't believe there was ever any demo, just the full game.
