An arcade style motor bike racing game.

The retail Moto Racer GP includes:

Eight different tracks take you through the snow capped mountains, scorching desert and even the Great wall of China.
Up to 24 fearless opponents.
Eight different bikes with adjustable performance variables; Acceleration, Max Speed, Grip, and Brakes.
Two different driving modes; Manual and Automatic transmission.

DEMO

There are two demo's for Moto Racer, one with just a dirt bike arena and speed bay, the other with a sand / dirt bike racing track and a circuit bike racing track (fun fair).

The first demo can be downloaded from here (18.1 Mb), it supports MMX and all Direct3D cards.

Both the demo and full version are networkable through: modem, internet, serial connect, or IPX network.

CHEATS

These cheats need to be typed in as your name to work, once entered they do not need to be entered again.

cdnalsi - All tracks enabled.
cesrever - Reverse all the courses.
ctekcop - Pocket bikes.

Frame Rate
(From Operation 3DFX)

To get Framerate in Motoracer type:Moto.exe -ijklmnop and then press Ctrl + F1 two times!!It appears in the lower left corner.

PATCHES

Patch to get all the tracks. Works only with the retail version of Moto Racer GP - http://home1.swipnet.se/~w-10513/8track.zip

Patch Description: (From 3DFX Mania)

Version 3.22
Corrects the crash bug on that happens with voodoo 2 cards (the retail version freeze as soon as you activate D3D on voodoo 2, and the 3.20 patch freeze when you have finished a race in championship)

Version 3.21

Added support for Voodoo2 owners. Also, this is supposed to work in Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 3 installed (yay!). Check out Al's MotoRacer Page for more info and FAQ's on this patch and the game in general.

MotoRacer Polygons version (Older)

This version should run faster on 3d accelerated graphic cards. Changes

Hardware acceleration for graphic cards that do not support textured polygons (like Matrox Millenium) is not available.
Your graphic card must have 4 Mb

Version 3.2
This patch will correct several problems with 3D acceleration cards using Direct 3D, ATI Rage 3D chipsets and PowerVR chipsets. (862 Kb)

Installation Notes
(From Operation 3DFX)

"I'm not sure why some didn't get our extra tracks for motoracer to work, well EA put up a page on how to properly install the 2 extra tracks Sea of Sand and Fun Fair:

            1.To setup Moto Racer Data Disk 1
                    Decompress mototracks.zip to a temporary directory (i.e. c:\windows\temp)
                    Run setup.exe
                    Follow the on screen prompts to install the Moto Racer Data Disk 1.
            2.Start Up Moto Racer
                    Go to the Options screen
                    At the bottom middle of the screen there should be a new button icon labeled Data
                    Disk.
                    Click on this button to proceed to the Data Disk screen.
                    Use the right and left arrow icons to change between the PLUG IN tracks and the
                    TWO NEW ISLANDS tracks.
                    Click on accept. When you return to the track selection screen you should now
                    have FUN FAIR and SEA OF SAND available for racing.

Also stay tuned for an exclusive new track of Motoracer coming up with the next Motoracer files updates, and please inform me if this works out for you with the extra tracks, i would really appreciate it :)" (Operation 3DFX)
