GAME DESCRIPTION

Psygnosis is in the final production stage on Newman/Haas Racing for PC and PlayStation, and expects to release the title for both platforms in March. The game is being done in partnership with the Newman/Haas Racing team, an organization founded in 1983 by former driver Carl Haas and actor/drive Paul Newman. Since the team was founded, Newman/Haas Racing drivers have won 52 Indy car events, and three PPG titles. The game features the two Newman/Haas drivers, Michael Andretti and Fittipaldi, along with 14 more top drivers. There are eleven licensed tracks, including two ovals, four temporary street circuits, and five permanent road tracks. Among them are the Milwa ukee Mile, the Houston street circuit, the Rio in Brazil, Long Beach California, the Firebird Test Track, and others in Canada, Australia and the USA. There are also some hidden tracks.

Game Requirements:

The game will require Windows 95, a Pentium 133, 16MB RAM, 2X CD-ROM, DirectSound compatible sound card, and 3D accelerator card (most of the cards will be supported under Direct3D, but there will be a native version for 3Dfx). A Pentium 166, 4X CD-ROM, SoundBlaster AWE32+ are recommended. Supports is included for keyboard, joystick (analog and digital) and steering wheels (analog and digital). Currently force feedback is planned, but not implemented in the code yet. IPX Network play for up to 8 people is included.
