DEMO
Download the X-Car: Experimental Racing demo, 9.6 megabytes, from PC Gamer Online, or try this version, which includes the PC Gamer car driven by Coconut Monkey (9.5 megabytes).
There is also now a 3DFX version of the X-CAR demo, it can be downloaded
from the following address
Operation 3DFX . It currently only
supports 3DFX cards, not 3DFX rush cards. (I will update the link to point
to the actual file location soon)
CHEATS
Heres some cheats For X-carType these in during Race: (From Operation 3DFX's cheats section)
Ctrl+shift+F8: change map color
Ctrl+shift+F9: repair damage
Ctrl+shift+F10: clear black flag
Type these in track seletion menu while selecting a track hold down on S or R to choose what type of weather (Sunny or rainy), Hold down M while selecting a single race or a quick race to enable the missile, then fire it by pressing the HUD toggle key.
PATCHES
Patch Description (From 3DFX Mania)
Add 3Dfx Voodoo Rush and Voodoo2 support to Bethesda's X-CAR: Experimental Racing. For this patch to work you must either have already installed the GLIDE drivers for your card or download the appropriate GLIDE drivers either from the 3Dfx's web site or from your card manufacturer's web site.
